No, they don't. You can add it with replacement back panels or such, AFAIK.
Can't wait for Apple to do their standard "give existing technology a really catchy name and use it as the major selling point of their new phone, several months after everyone else" with this one!

I don't think Samsung are bothering with this, the vice ceo has already said they are using a removable battery in the GS4 and not overly fussed about changing that and not overly fussed about wifi charging either.

I would by this every time I got a phone if it was a option at the time of purchase. Just as I always by a charging cradle now when they have one.

In other words, they have support for it.
Also, I understand (no first hand experience though) that you don't need a replacement back piece or anything, just something to go between the back panel and the battery.

Third-party support yes, hardly the same thing. But I obviously see your point.
And yes, you can mod your own with some easily available parts - or so I understand it, no experience either.

I must admit that it looks like it seems to take quite a bit more tweaking than I had assumed - damn hearsay for making things sound so simple - so I'd say you were certainly closer to the truth than I was. Didn't think it worked out of the box, but also wasn't aware it took quite that much tinkering :)
