I have been backing up my dvd's onto dvd-r's and obviously I am using some quality in the dvd's...What i am wondering is what program can i use to use 2 dvd's instead of 1 to keep the quality?? and i am using a sony 52" widescreen so i can notice a bit of a difference...

Two programs that I know of; DVDDXCOPY and DVD Shrink - preferably the latter.

You'll have to Re-author using Shrink but you can cut the movie (and extra clips) in two by using the "Set Start/End Frames."

In re-author, drag a movie/clip over into the compilation window. Click on the icon above the word 'size' - looks like an arrow pointing left above one pointing right. Figure out a half way point and set your Start/End frames. Remember where you left off and repeat to do the last half.
