Asus, long the manufacturing leader of graphics cards, has quietly fallen to third in the market.
PALiT and PC Partner moved into first and second place, respectively.
While PALiT does most of its sales under its own brand name, it also builds cards under the brands Galaxy, Gainward, Yuan, Vvikoo, Daytona and XpertVision. PALiT only sells cards using Nvidia GPUs.

Indeed, I know of Gainward... even had one of their cards... thought they'd folded. I've heard of PALiTandSapphire.
I'm surprised MSI weren't first as being cheapest they are usually built into shop commissioned rigs. Once bitten, I'll never get any of their stuff again... poorly made.
I won't buy a Gigabyte board anymore either but their GFX cards are a different story.
I've never bought an Asus GFX card as I consider them overpriced and I'll never touch their motherboards again unless I have no choice. Other stuff from Asus is ok like their laptops.
Yeah have to agreee Gigabyte used to be one of the holy grail of motherboards but not anymore.
I just upgraded my pc for the first time in 5 years to an Asrock FM2A75 Pro board and I have been mightily impressed - once they were regarded as el cheapo but I find them to be extremely reliable for any customer I build Its the one I now recommend!

Yup, Asrock is what I'd recommend nowadays too.
Just built a rig for a kid using a an Asrock Z77 Extreme4, very good value, yet to turn it on though. Haha.
