How to preview movies in Kazaa!!

Are you sick of downloading fake movies because kazaa just won't preview them?

It's actually very easy and worth the effort. Before you start, you need to have the codecs for the films you're downloading. Use the afterdawn software section to download your codecs.

When you have them, download VirtualDUB from here...

When kazaa is downloading the movie, go to your shared folder and copy the .dat file. DO NOT USE THE ORIGINAL FILE AS THIS WILL DAMAGE THE DOWNLOAD!!

Open VirtualDUB and open the copied file. It will re-index the file and you should see the picture, if its real!

It won't play properly but you'll know if its real by now.


This works on the TMD movies if you have the tmd codec installed.

hum. u can only copy the filled called "download11110221023102032303" that fit with the actual size of the downlaod and then rename it in command prompt to .mpg or what else. U should be able to read it and realize that its actually a porn movie even if u were downloading "britney spears - the new hot clips"

...damn kazaa ;)

There's a new piece of software called Kazaa Preview Extractor which allows you to preview any movie files of any size. The copy is made in the 'My Shared Folder', completely separate from the file which will still be downloading.

Yes, it does the same thing. But VirtualDub may be a little complicated to use for the novice users. The first time you used Kazaa, you must have realized how easy the interface was to use, its very self-explanatory. The Kazaa Preview Extractor has a very simple interface, you just can't go wrong. To anyone who has any doubts, you can read the user opinions from download.com before you decide to give it a go.
