fill me in with all the details and y is only dvd movies i see dvd 9?? and are those one i buy from computer stores dvd9? those 4.7gb ones?

DVD 9 is a dual layer disc that holds 8.5 g's.

DVD 5 is a single layer disc that holds 4.37 g's.

Most movies are sold on DVD 9 discs, to copy them you must compress and/or re-author. That's where the fun begins!
