Verizon now selling 32GB Galaxy S4 online

article published on 30 June, 2013

The U.S.' biggest carrier Verizon, has made a 32GB model of the Samsung Galaxy S4 available online for $299 with contract. Until this weekend, Verizon only had the 16GB version available for $199. Of course, the phone has expandable memory via microSD, so the extra $100 to move up a model is definitely not worth it. High-end 16GB microSD cards sell for $10-$20. Buyers will see their ... [ read the full article ]

If it is the same as the s3, it can be worth it. Apps can only be installed on the internal sd card, so if you use a lot of apps, you might need it. I have only 1gb free on my 16gb GS3 with around 50 apps total.

I think it was kind of lame of Google/Android developers to force internal storage for app placement. I use to put as many apps as possible on the micro sd card. Yea they want to say that someone might remove the memory card. But who really does that? I don't know anyone. I personally think it is a hassle to remove the card. I can count the amount of times on one hand that I needed to remove the card for some reason.

The S3 did not allow Save to SD? That's heinous.

Yeah. And it was a surprise to everyone I think. I know they were trying to get a way to get apps over to the external, but I don't think they pulled off getting anything more than the app data over to the external.

I believe that after ICS that if the phone came with internal storage most if not all manufacturers didn't allow the option to save to sd. It may have been a Google thing as well.

yes, more internal memory is a definite requirement since you cannot install apps in external cards unless you root the device that voids warranty, which may not be an option for many.

You're a retard for saying something so trivial and ridiculously anti-pragmatic.

50 apps would not eat up 15GB.......unless they're ALL cutting edge, brand new, massively large games.....and I doubt you only have games on your phone. Who knows......with comments like this, I could see you being a phone gaming junky.

Stop treating your phone like it's an appendage and put it down from time to time and stop hoarding apps you likely NEVER USE!
