I've had about a week to review the highly-touted Acer Iconia W3, the first Windows 8 tablet in the new, popular 8-inch form factor.
While there is plenty to like, there is also plenty to dislike with this attempt, which is unfortunate as the tablet market really has stagnated recently, with the only real "innovations" coming in the form of aesthetics and larger (or smaller) display sizes.

What a let down... if this had a real USB, microUSB charging only, and as for the free space... disgusting is the right word.
And from experience, any tablet with the 12v or 9v round plug will fail. out of 20 tablets I've had or know people with all of them have lost the ability to charge or will fry themselves.

So what do you want a new tablet to do that other ones don't...massage your privates for you?

Yes i have to laugh, they can make them look better, but still there an 6, 8 10 inch screens, micro usb and sd slot would be nice
Am I the only one that wants a FM transmitter? Not so much in a tablet but in a phone it would be invaluable. No more bluetooth, all hands free, and not a bit of additional kit needed to work with every automobile that has a radio. I'm sure the voice recognition and noise cancellation software is advanced enough to make it work better than most the other "hands-free" systems out there.
I own and love my Acer Iconia A500 tablet (even if it doesn't massage my privates). Get a clue, Acer -- I bought your tablet over others available on the market at the same time solely because of the full size USB port. The reasons I won't buy another Acer tablet?
1. You took away the full size USB port, duh.
2. Your new tablets don't massage my privates. ;)
3. You won't update my Android based A500 to Jellybean because you claim the hardware can't handle it. Well, you should probably tell CyanogenMod that, because (no thanks to Acer) my A500 is now running flawless on CM 10.2 (Android Jellybean 4.2).
I despise manufacturers who claim "it can't be done" when 3rd party developers (without access to OEM drivers) can do it. This Acer Windows tablet absolutely reeks of that -- it will never see an update. The hardware in it now can barely handle the current version of Windows.
