I'm a semi- newbie, my problem is movies will consistantly not play to completion. After about 40 minutes to an hour the movie will "lock up". I'm using a default buring software and memorex+R media. Do we think this is a media problem or a burning problem?

Hi awman
Sounds like cheap media to me.Memorex outsources their dvd's to whoever will do it cheap.So with memorex,every spindle is a crap shoot.Freezing, skipping, pixilation, is all signs of bad media.
Ritek go4, and verbatim, are discs of choice in this forum.
