According to Taylor Wimberly, Motorola is building the next Nexus. Via Google+, the source says "Motorola will release a Nexus smartphone in Q4 (that is not the Moto X)." There had been speculation that LG or Samsung would be creating the new device, but Motorola would make equal sense given that Google now owns the company. Bummer, I like Sammy, but everybody says they have good luck with Motorola, and Scroogle's left them mostly intact, so at least it should be a good product.

My G-Nex is 2 years old in December, if they can give me a removable battery and an SD card, I can't imagine they could screw the phone up enough to not make me hop onto that.
