I usually buy Ridata dvd-r from digitalpromo but they are sold out and i need some discs desperately so i'm thinking of trying the Ridisc? Does anyone have any experience with this disc and does anyone know if they are manufactured at Ritek just like the Ridata? I only trusted the Ridata, traxdata and clonedisc after searching this site but i would try these if i could be sure they're up to the same standard! Thanx in advance for any insight :)

I have only bad experience with Ridisc media. Bought 25, had 3 bad burns from the first 5 disks. Be warned these disks are NOT grade 'A' media.

This time last week I would have had no qualms in recommending the DataSafe Ritek DVD-R but the Ritek quality in general has deteriorated lately. I've switched to Verbatim's, so I'd recommend them or some TY if you can find them.

Ridisc is an e-Net brand and e-Net is known for buying C, D
and lesser grade discs, re-print them and sell them as A
grade.
If you do not want to get burnt steer well clear of Data*****,
Bulkpaq and Ridisc (even the latest Arita discs sold by e-net
are DIY fakes).

Have you tried Mryangs clonedisk media yet?. He guarantess that they are always grade 'A'. I am currently using Ritek "Branded" and have had no problems (yet).

The official distributor in Europe for Ritek is Conrexx. They only import Traxdata, Ridata and Arita branded Riteks plus they OEM discs for other companies (Mr. Yang's CloneDisc is one of them). Any other Ritek disc you find in Europe is side-imported and is not guaranteed to be A grade.

I have to say that ARita discs are very good.

Ridiscs are also very good.

Ritek rules.

They just need to be more available, not just online
