I have seen incredible price difference in Windows AND MS Office between the modes one can buy. For instance a copy of Office Pro in retail packaging on retailers shelf may sell for $ 250/= or thereabouts. But in downloaded form a 5 user pack genuinely retail version sells for less than that. At one time the difference was a full hard printed copy of the manual. There is no longer any advantage in buying a packaged version. Same holds true for OEM versions.

Just wonder what kind of reduction in OEM price could MS afford to hugely increase the Win 8 phone version. Honestly with Oddice components built in like the erst while Win CE they could really overtake iOS, notwithstanding bragging rights!
