Samsung used their latest Unpacked event to unveil the Galaxy Note 3.
The latest model of the phablet is slimmer, bigger, lighter and more powerful, an impressive feat. On the design side, the bezels are much slimmer, and the edges are sharper, a marginal move from previous devices.

i want it, too but in absence of a full office, it still looks non-productive to me.i really hope somebody gets some alternative some day for office with "all possibilities" so that we don't need M$ anymore.

Sounds cool as fook, but is it a small tablet with phone capabilities or a big phone, cos it sounds like u will need big pockets to carry it.
I would still have one tho, after using the galaxy s3 for the last 8 months, the iPhone 4 my wife uses feels like it should belong to a child its so small.

thanks for the link. i checked kingsoft before. better than many others; unfortunately, it does not come even close to MS office. basically, i want to create MS word/excel/ppt files in a computer, and READ in a mobile device just like how i read in a computer; i don't wanna edit them in a mobile platform. for PPTs with texts and pics, it is fine, but when i add animated pics, videos, and so on, the mobile software don't read them.

It is nice, but [and I'd like to make it clear I HATE SONY] I think I'd rather have the new Sony. Waterproof with a great camera and a DSLR add-on...the other specs might not be quite as good, but these days who cares? I know Samsung makes a waterproof Galaxy...why is it that this is only available on one model, and that it is also only available through one provider with a terrible network? Samsung is falling prey to the same mistakes that Apple made (and even with the same service provider). Netflix and webbrowsers take very little processing power, few people play any games more complex than Angry Birds, and even Adobe Flash (once added back in by the community) doesn't have any issues running on anything newer than the original moto droid. Frankly, I think we are at the point where more advanced CPUs and more memory are not going to do much good without massive advances in the software. Ubuntu seems to be going in roughly the right direction...although I honestly don't know when/if we are going to get away from this philosophy that everything on a smartphone/tablet needs to be less capable than the desktop counterpart...I can understand making changes so it works with a fat finger instead of a fine mouse pointer, but completely removing features is an issue. Since there is very little that big corporations like Samsung can do about this most serious of problems (other than taking a big risk by releasing an Ubuntu phone that would sell out of preorders before production began), it seems only prudent to improve the general use features...Samsung started this by giving us big screens, and they continue to scale them up slowly, but now it seems Sony is taking the lead by drastically improving the camera and adding waterproofing to a top-end model. Maybe next we will see phones with decent storage that doesn't cost an extra $100 per 16GB...wouldn't that be something?

manufacturers, point to be noted! give us some mobile devices that can do as good as our PCs can do. the hardware is capable enough now , so excuse should be stopped.
but dude, i think the new sony does not have a flash, which is a no-no to me.

It'll get'cha PHONELESS for an indefinite period of time until you find a phone that undergoes your nitpicking.
This phone is dope!! Finally the US gets better h/w than Europe (or at least equal)
