I am new to ripping.
I am trying to rip The Tao of Steve and get this in the log. Can anyone help:

I had the same problem with the two movies below. It must be some kind of copy protection.

I just had the same problem with ned kelly.
After several failed attempts with DVDdecrypter,DVDshrink, and anydvd.

I then used my other machine with an updated Anydvd set for 1x read and ripped to ISO with Decrypter. Went smoothly all the way through. That was with a 2500a NEC Flashed to the latest Herrie hack firmware.

Two Questions.

Is AnyDVD comercial software or freeware and where is the best place to pick it up?

Is there a version of Herrie hack firmware for a LiteOn LDW-851S drive?

Anydvd does cost but you can use it for 30 days for free.

Herrie I believe is just NEC.
