Although it is certainly not a unique call, Tokyo-based analyst firm Advanced Research Japan says Apple will begin selling UltraHD TVs in 2014. And yet again......another product boasting "UltraHD".

Look people, "UltraHD" is a far cry from practical implementation. We are looking at 7 more years before broadcasts even come close to "UltraHD" and just as long before blu-rays even have UltraHD as it's just not widely embraced.

I'd bet anything that the vast majority of people would be totally content with 1080i/p if polled.

The funniest thing I see is the 65" of gorilla glass... seriously are that many people throwing game controllers and other random things they have in their living rooms at the TV? I would hazard a guess but that treatment isn't cheap, on phones it adds maybe 10% to the cost of manufacturing, I can only imagine how much of a markup 65" would be.
