can't open 7-zip file

hi

I've just dwnl a torrent that is compressed as a7-zip file.I have no experience with this so i downloaded 7-zip file manager,but i can't seem to open the file.I tried to extract it or open it but it constantly asks for a password. how extactly do i open these type of files.I tried winrar but that didn't work either.

Does anybody have any experience with 7-zip and how to open those files correctly.It will come in handy if i get more of these files.
