I am looking for help with this, i own an Archos av340 video player.

It comes with a recorder that lets me copy from dvd's straight to it, the only downside to this is i have to play the disk and let it record in real time.

As you can see by the features on the list it says it uses DIVX and XVID, i was wondering if there is something i could use to rip my dvd's on my pc and then copy them as i need them to my player.

any help would be appreciated.
