HI THERE GUYS!

i'm looking for a stand alone player, that will player divx/avi player. But i also want it to be able to record stuff on dvd-r too.. firmware would be great to upgrade... any recommendations
the ones i been looking at either had divx player and not a recorder or vice versa

Just bought the Sumvision DiVx version. It plays EVERYTHING !!, and I do mean everything. Even some short clips I downloaded which I have difficulty playing on my PC.

my 90pound binatone plays divx its just a nuisance burning withem ive had 50% hit rate plays -r discs
