When trying to backup my MXUnleashed, I am getting a disc read error.

It's failed with DVD Decrypter, Nero and Alcohol.

Usually, the message is something like,

"Disk read error"
"cyclic redundancy error"

The backup always fails right at around 80% to 81% complete too...

Anybody else run into this...?

I've had the disc since MX Unleashed came out, but there is one tiny mark on the read side of the disc. Not a scratch per say, but a slight scuff.

Is this some sort of copy protection built in, or is my disc just whacked enough to cause a failure in the backup...?

Thanks for the knowledge to all those who's brains are more developed than mine...

I just backed up MX unleashed with DVD Decrypter and it work fine also from when it original came out, no scuffs though. I have experienced your problem though usually a good cleaning of the disk fixes it though, but if not its usually the scuff/scratch thats the problem
