An Australian man who ran a Bitcoin wallet service claims that hackers have stolen over $1 million worth of Bitcoins. Identified only as TradeFortress, the man said 4,100 Bitcoins (about $1.04 million) were stolen in two separate attacks on the service he operated. I'm confused, from what i've seen Bitcoin is only an electronic, essentially a GUID that you have which records you bit coin. There is nothing tangible you can hold, it truely is compeltely electronic. So i don't understand the statement "Don't store them on and internet connected device...". That is the only way you will ever be able to use them.

Bitcoins just seems like a technology full of fail... But surprised by the guy a few months back, invested $25 in 2006 or so and then are now work just about $1M. Might be one of the best returns on investment ever?
