Problems playing DVD+RW

I have a DVD+RW dvd drive and I downloaded DVD shrink and DVD Decrypter and i successfully made my first DVD using a DVD+RW disk. The disk will play in my pc dvd-rom drive and will play in a panasonic dvd player but will not play in an Apex TV/DVD Combo? Does anyone have any idea why this disk will play in a tv with a seperate dvd player and not in a TV/DVD Combo set? by the way the disk is a Fujifilm DVD+RW. Thanks for your help.

Player compatibility ... My Xbox won't play any RW media. Try using +R's. You can also check your players compatibility here http://www.videohelp.com/dvdplayers
