i want to rip the movie off this dvd movie but convert it to a avi or mpeg file. I want to upload it to bit torrent to share with everyone! :)

First, What proggie should i use?
Second, Is this going to be a difficult process?
Third, Is there an already existing guide on how to do this? If not then can someone run this by me?

Im fairly new to all this movie burning dvd ripping whatever so explain thouroughly. THANK YOU!

They normally provide helpful hints for people wishing to download/upload pirated movies.

No names were mentioned. This could be a home movie that somebody has made and would like to share....

You may open the link to take a look http://www.xilisoft.com/dvd-ripper/tutorial.html. Xilisoft DVD Ripper can rip DVDs to VCD/SVCD/AVI etc.
