Intel has acquired Kno, an education startup that provides apps for interactive versions of digitized textbooks. They might do well to fix problems with their current range of hardware. I have had nothing but problems with their USB implementation, both 2.0 and 3.0. These can't even power 2 - two - usb powered hard drives simultaneously that are drawing less then the specified 500 ma current and keep getting disconnected ! Apart from this they have major problems with drivers too. BTW AMD is no better.

They should learn a lesson from VIA, NEC and nVidia. My 8 year old VIA CN7 mini-itx board can comfortably power 5 such drives without a hiccup!
