Microsoft has confirmed today that its live gameplay streaming feature has been delayed until next year. The streaming, which uses Twitch.tv, will be made available during the "first part" of 2014. Well, of course MS is announcing now that it's delayed.

With the launch in only a couple days, they know launch-addicts won't bother to cancel their pre-order and switch camps.

It's amazing how the manufacturers promise so many features when when they first announce their latest-n-greatest closed ecosystems, and then slowly take them away the closer they get to launch.
