I am having trouble with 2 avi files I have. Both files play properly on Windows Media Player and VideoLAN, but when I try to convert them to VCD or SVCD format they seem to get stuck on the opening frames, so that the mpg file at the end is about the third of the normal size and just contains a static picture of the frame. Both files use the codecs DX50 (DivX 5) and MPEG 1 Layer 3 for video and audio respectively (and the proper codecs are installed on the computer). I have tried converting with cucusoft and tmpgenc but get the same result from both. Can someone help me please.
