Sprint's "Spark" LTE network now live in Chicago

Sprint has announced that their faster "Spark" LTE network is now live in Chicago, just a month after the carrier confirmed it was merging 800 MHz, 1.9 GHz and 2.5 GHz LTE spectrum to be able to offer speeds as high as 50 Mbps. Since I use Sprint I hope they upgrade more of the major cities first as I would like to switch over to cell high speed and get rid of my DSL. I have it in one of the locations I live in but am still waiting for my alternative location.

Since they are undergoing a massive upgrading of their systems I wonder if it will be 5G capable when that format is available in the future?
