Ok, so it takes a little work, but I did it from my head on the fly in about 4 hours, it was an impulse design.

This is ideal for someone who uses the disk swap method, uses a slide card, wants an easier alternative, and is too cheap to buy a pre-made flip-top.

I have created a guide you can use, it caontains a lot of pictures, so I'm hosting it on a webserver. Here's the link http://randtassociates.netfirms.com/page/page.html Enjoy!

Very good, I don't think I'm that adventerous so I think I'll just stick with my current flip top...but well done on having the courage (and the brains) to do it!!!

Glad it worked out for you. There's no way I would do that. I was upset about removing the warranty sticker so that I could install my pre-made flip top. There's no way I would have cut my own top.
