it isn't aligned correctly

just cuze the led is on doesn't mean that the d0 is properly positioned and making proper contact

pm me if you need any additional help

i am in the similar situation as jbing1982 i have opened the xbox 3 times since and tried repositioning it yet there doesn't seem anything wrong with its position it sits snugly with the pogopins.
I have flashed it several times with different bioses and each time the device boots into a red and green eject button light... and of course i positioned the jumpers accordingly to the manual.. anyone able to give me a few pointers as i am getting quite disillusioned by the whole thing.

was there something else i was meant to do to the physical installation when doing the pogopin install?

i'd love to get some feedback soon. Thanks

no the screen is blank/black... and yes i've been trying to avoid (no pun intended) thinking about the possiblity that the chip is screwed as that would send me into infinite loops of misery.

i have since, tried booting the device whilst open: hard drive and dvd drive out.. and applying pressure to the x-bit board (in a manner to not cause conduction) as i have read elsewhere..

any suggestions?

thanks

after hours of toying and experimenting i got the damn thing to work. to be honest i cant say what it was that fixed it which is a shame.

i was using an xbit chip with a v1.3 xbox (for the record) not sure if this is pertinent but i took the disc out after flashing then turned it on and then off and then on again with a cd .... maybe a bit of a whim but the thing now works.. which is much to my delight thank you matty8887 for you time.

Can anyone tell me how to flash more than one bios to this chip? When I try to do it, none of the other raido buttons are selectable. The only one that's selectable is the one with my first bios on it, in this case bank number 4. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
