I know that this has been posted alot in the forums. But i didnt quite get a clear answer from reading through the older posts. And not being able to add replies to 60 day or older posts is out of the question as this is my first post :)

DVD's are black and white on my set top dvd player. I know the issue is a ntsc/pal deal. But from the posts i read i wasnt able to determine if its the TV or the DVD player. DVD player is magnavox dvd 611. TV is a phillips magnavox (cant see a model nbr on front and im to lazy to turn it around) Im burning using dvd+r discs from sony(list as ricohjpn i think. and memorex(mcm sounds familiar). both seem to work just fine except some, hell 3/5 of the dvds i burned came out BW. Irritating as all hell thinking you did something wrong. Oh well such is life when starting a new interest.
