Google has partnered with software maker VMware in an effort to bring Windows to Chromebooks. VMware creates emulation software giving users the ability to run multiple operating systems on the same PC. Umm arnt the cromebooks just underpowered netbooks will be fun running windows on them and always on internet connection not here in Australia.

I'm simultaneously intrigued and confused by this story. When it mentions "Windows apps", I wonder if they're referring to apps like you'd get on a Windows Phone or would they be available from the Chrome store? Guess I'll just have to keep an eye on what transpires.
