Less than a week after the company was acquired for a staggering $19 billion by social networking behemoth Facebook, WhatsApp had its largest outage ever. Founder and CEO Jan Koum has apologized this weekend for the four hour outage, giving a bit more details about the down time. "Whats UP" with these people? - $19b on something you can do on other apps and platforms?? plus most get free texts these days - Anyway, hasn't Facebook already got messaging for the kids... oh hold on I know, Zuckerberg and Acton are good friends and Facebook has heaps of poor investors cash to dispose of after the IPO. That'll be it!
