Turkey's telecommunications regulator has blocked Twitter, following a threat by Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan. There is a major election next week, and the PM has been linked to a massive corruption probe in the nation. Most if no all corrupt countries of the world are afraid of twitter; including the U.S. Govt.

Yeah...block twitter...that worked really well in every other country where it was tried. Even the president is against the block...not because he doesn't like it, but because he knows he will be the first against the wall if he supports it.

The Turkish Prime Minister is smart enough to block Twitter but not smart enough to block Tor.
