Burning DV to DVD +R Disk

I'm having problems creating a DVD disk so I can play it on my DVD Player in my living room. Everytime I capture a video from my camcorder, and burn it to a DVD +R Disk, I keep getting a message saying "Failed to record data to disc Error DVD+ [14252:1:0]"
I tried capturing the DV to the hard drive with the DVD output and then burning to the disk as well as capturing and recording on the fly.
Can somebody please help?
Burner= Toshiba SD-R5272
App= Ulead VideoStudio 8 and Ulead DVD Movie Factory
