The much-anticipated Radeon R9 295X2 'Vesuvius' has been unveiled in leaked press images, along with its specs. DVI-HDMI dongles aren't exactly expensive if you can afford a graphics card like that. If you're running multiple displays, presumably they intend one to be displayport.

Sound doesn't transmit over DVI so that idea is lame and impractical.

Now.....I'm sure the dongle for DP to HDMI is available for like 20 bucks. I just hate DP.......proprietary junk!

I hope this dose 4K cuda cores or it won't be worth while!

Copyright infringement is nothing more than civil disobedience to a bad set of laws. Lets renegotiate them.

Yeah, I know they aren't expensive, but for a top end card not to feature native HDMI seems like a glaring omission to me. And like Hearme0 already pointed out, no audio over DVI. If a DP to HDMI cord is supplied in the box, this will be a non-issue, since as far as I can tell, audio will be allowed to pass through this type of conversion cord.
