Hi all

Hope I'm posting in the right place as this is my first post.

I have installed the latest release of Nero - full version a few days ago and burnt a few DVD-R fine at 4x on my NEC 2510A.

Today I tried to recode and burn a DVD with Nero recode 2. I import the DVD from my hard disk, click next, the screen changes to the recode and burn screen and I get the message 'recodeing and burning please wait...' but nothing happens.

Then explorer locks up.It is like it is trying to access the blank disc in the 2510 but it just sits there, I can't cancel or end the program. If I load internet explorer it says it is not responding but the cpu usage is almost zilch it's just sitting there waiting for something.

Have re-installed all nero componenets but no different.

Help, please.

Hi,

Did you install Nero's InCD perchance? If you did it may help to uninstall it. Packet writing apps such as InCD can cause errors in the burn process by constantly requesting access to the drive and interrupting whatever other app is trying to use it since many apps require exclusive access to the drive.


It may also help to use Nero's Clean Tool for InCD:

Thanks for responding Nephilim.

Will remove INCD and see if that helps.
