By doing so, WordPerfect had its development severely slowed, said Novell, causing Microsoft Word to move forward and become the dominate word processing program.

That should be "dominant."

One thing I know from first hand experience. Up until Quattro Pro 5 never had any problem. No subsequent releases ever worked right! Thats M$ for you.
