i ripped a dvd using vcd galaxy and now i have 4 vob files and 3 of them r 1gb. how can i make the files smaller, such as an avi file, without losing quality. i want to be able to send this to my friend lol. is there any program where i can just select the 4 files and click convert and have it switch them to avi files? thanks for any help

i need to convert vob to a file that will play in windows media like avi. and thats small enough to send to my friend. lol someone help me.

well im in the same boat, but i want to convert my VOB to mpeg. Because windows movie maker wont accept VOB files to edit with.... Just try google for now until someone better and more experienced has a better idea, DVD2AVI is a programme for that i think, search up on it. Tell me when your problem is solved, because im in the same problem!
