I love my Die Hard movies but have lately decided that I would like to edit out all the F bombs, etc. maybe even take 1/2 a second off a scene or two. I have decryptor and DVD Shrink and I think I saw an option on one of these programs but can't seem to locate it now. Do I need different software? What do you all recommend?
You can remove the bits that you find objectionable but it will be a bit tedious to do so. DVD Shrink has a Start/Stop feature that will allow you select the parts you want to keep and then put the remaining parts back together as a compilation. Here's a neat animated guide on how it goes:

OK Let me suggest a possible solution to my problem, but I still need expert advice. If I can split a VOB into video and wave audio, I can edit the wave with software that I already have. Can I do such a split then join video and edited audio back again? I know I would need to keep the edited audio the same length as before and I realize that there might be some interim conversions. I don't want to lose too much quality, however. Otherwise I'll just make a video tape using "MUTE" and go from there.
