In an interview with CNBC, Silicon Valley icon and venture capitalist Marc Andreessen claimed NSA leaker Edward Snowden is a textbook traitor.
He made the comment during an interview with CNBC, admitting that he is a distinct minority for criticizing Snowden's actions. "I think most in Silicon Valley would pick the other designation," he said.

Well, they teach you never to participate in any acts that you wouldn't want posted over the front of every newspaper and I believe the NSA has done just that, as many of the major tech companies involved have as well. I truly believe honesty is "always" the best policy in any situation, some may defend the NSA's actions as a form of "National Security", which translates to "Taxpayer Shakedown, grab the money & run" but I think there are more efficient and honest ways of doing so.
Andreessen obviously doesn't realize all actions have consequences and that's a simple fact of life. Though people have the option to take responsibility, or push blame; we obviously see what camp he is in. It's people like him that will lie through their teeth to sell you their product with no consideration of the consumers discontent when it doesn't meet expectations. The sad thing, hes not the only one.
snowden is a traitor he worked for nsa and was in a position of power with access to secrets and gave them away.
In an ideal world the government wouldn't have secrets to hide but the world isn't perfect.Snowden probably morally thought the world had a right to know what nsa were doing so he gave out the information.
Quote: Andreessen said that Snowden's revelations have seriously damaged the U.S. tech sector, with a major question mark now hanging over the ability of U.S. firms to sell their products in overseas markets
he didn't affect the products he just raised security concerns and if USA has nothing to hide then they shouldn't have a problem.
Quote: The [Obama] administration is letting the NSA out to dry. They're letting the American tech industry out to dry,
The NSA is suppose to be security not tech industry if they are using illegal means to gain an advantage its their own fault.

This fat, bald and dainty-looking goof should crawl away and rot to death!
His "innovations" of Mosaic didn't last to any noteworthy status and Netscape?? Come on man...........that's like taking advice on how to rob a bank from someone that robbed a bank 100 years ago.
This guy is being a prick just to be a prick.
Snowden is NOT a "textbook" traitor by any means and what he did was NECESSARY as the U.S.A. firmly believes it's allowed and authorised to police the activities of all other countries and we keep meddling!
If I see this guy in a dark alley.......I can't say I wouldn't run him over.
