As of writing, Google is continuing their rollout of the latest version of Android, 4.4.3 KitKat.
The OTA update is available for the Nexus 5, Nexus 7, and Google Play versions of the Samsung Galaxy S4, HTC One M7, HTC One M8, and Sony's Z Ultra. Motorola also announced it is available for the T-Mobile Moto X, the unlocked Moto G and the Moto E.

Samsung does not update their older phones that would work much better with Kit Kat. I suggest to stay far away from Samsung and either buy from Google or go to Apple. My Galaxy Note works so lousy with Jelly Bean I want to toss it out the window !
It would be nice to see it hit the LG G2 phones SOON, even though we just got 4.4.2. Hopefully with 4.4.3. it would fix the broken audio that was created with the newest 4.4.2 OTA update on the now not very fun to use (after update to KitKat) G2... (on T-Mobile)
I got 4.4.3 on my Nexus 7 (2013 two days ago. It might have been me, but it seemed to run a bit faster on things like screen switching between apps etc. Maybe the reset cleared some stuff.
