Netflix is set to stop serving customers with error messages that blame their ISP during video streaming problems. Last week, Netflix and Verizon went toe-to-toe over error messages Netflix was showing to subscribers when they ran into streaming problems. As a network engineer, I have always sided with Netflix on this. Setting all that has come to light on this issue aside, it is historically proven that a company like Verizon is more likely and has more to gain by restricting their service.........or even more likely is that they haven't done the necessary upgrades or repairs and have stuck customers with the result of their neglect.

Netflix makes a significant point about 2Mbps being only a fraction of most people's bandwidth which boggles my mind that Verizon actually contests this. V is a highly arrogant co. and proven by this fact amongst many more.
