$25 smartphones would be great hit in Indian market. This can be evidenced by phenominal success of Motorola Moto-E phone. These have apparently been sold only in on-line stores. In fact to order them one has to be connected to the site like e-bay auction. They sell out faster faster then the supplies. 30 - 40,000 phones getting sold in under an hour is what is happening. The phone is priced at half that of what Samsung was selling their mid range Galaxy Grand about a year ago and that too with much better specs. India is one country where "value for money" and "total cost of ownership" are the absolute primary concerns. Good luck FireFox smartphone. Look forward to its launch.
