I still don't understand how Aereo is doing anything wrong........other than centralizing their DVR features. OTA broadcasts are allowed to be intercepted by ANYONE according to FCC law. Aereo just needs to give an antenna and DVR but one that is NOT web-based as this seems to be.

If they did that they would not have a service to generate revenue from.

Copyright infringement is nothing more than civil disobedience to a bad set of laws. Lets renegotiate them.

We in democratically backward India - by US perception - are so much worse off! No copyright applies to what is on the air. We have no burner phones for the benefit of crooks, scoundrels, rogues, mafia or terrorists. Police frequency receivers are banned for the general public for their own safety from criminals. We have no way to block caller ID being visible to the receiver.

I don't miss any of these features of US life !
