Samsung has made their highly-anticipated Galaxy Alpha smartphone official, following weeks of rumors and leaks.
The new metal phone has a design similar to the iPhone, and weighs just 4.05 ounces with only 6.7mm thickness.

I agree Bozobub, nice looking phone but no MicroSD and only 32GB internal is a pretty big turn-off.
Still gonna have to see if I can find all the specs on it...it sure is a sweet looking little device so far.
I hate to see them make one that looks more like an iPhone. The regular Galaxy line is way nicer than an iPhone. This looks like a big step backwards to me. No card slot. Really. I would not need or want one of these.

I agree that I wouldn't want an I-phone clone from Samsung either but there's good things on both that, from the looks of this phone, may work well in unison. This phone just looks like a solid little machine and I really like the aquamarine kinda colour on the phone in the image, but yah, no card kills this line for most of us. I'd like to see one for real just to get a better look/feel still.
