I have converted DivX movie to DVD format(vob),
after burning and putting DVD into my PS2 the movie appears twitchy, every 2 second it stops for about 0.5 second and then plays again.
Do you know why it happens so? Can it be that my DVD disc is damaged
or bad written? I have tried to play movie on PC with PoverDVD and it plays fine.

Regards,
Tom

Yes my PS2 have a chip - Messiah 1. The hardware is new and all DVD plays fine except one which I have converted from DivX (with WinAVI Video Converter program) to DVD.

From another forum I have got the asnwer
---------
Could be the conversion wasnt right. When converting to DVD-5 do make sure your not hogging resources by doing
other things such as playing games or listening to mp3's etc.
--------

Maybe this is the problem?

Tomas

no, cheap dvds just suck. Movies don't work very well on them, as you have seen.
