Another MOTO fail......or soon to be!

Good specs but like all other Android products, it'll slow down dramatically after a short time. NO ONE GIVES A CRAP ABOUT 4K RECORDING!!!

And yet they STILL put an F'ing 2MP cam on the front. How about 5 min???

The beefy battery is the only eye-catcher on this inevitable P.O.S. that people will no doubt upgrade and sell off after 1-2 years and get yet another phone that is barely more advanced than this garbage.

Regarding tech.......people are nothing more than sheeple and simply blindly follow other morons.

Android devices mainly slow down if you use too much cache; it's completely avoidable. That said, I agree with most of your points - although I'd add the lack of a microSD slot - but...

Here's an excellent, short article on what causes slowdown - which, by the way, also affects iDevices - and some methods to reduce/eliminate it.

Wow, it doesn't take much to get hearme0 worked up! Nice tirade. lol

I agree 4k recording is a gimmick. No need to constantly take selfies so the 2 MP front camera doesn't bother me. That battery is awesome, as is the screen and CPU.

Still, I'm sticking with my nearly 3 year old Galaxy Nexus which is still perfectly usable and I've never noticed the slowdown hearme0 claims affects all Android products. Can't see upgrading anytime soon.

The slowdown IS real, but as I said, is mostly avoidable. What isn't avoidable, however, is the fact that app updates are always updated for the latest version of Android, which inevitably results in inefficiencies when running on older versions; this is quite common, sadly. The only thing that can fix THAT is a newer version of Android.

If your phone is running an older Android version, and you don't expect an official update ever again, it's probably a good idea to root your phone and install a ROM with a newer version. This is exactly why I finally installed CyanogenMod on my Samsung Galaxy S3; I still chuckle when Samsung reps say that KitKat won't run on the S3 (runs just fine for me - lol)
