James Cameron, the director behind the highest grossing films of all-time, says that the new Avatar films are 'gonna be b*tchin'.' 48fps is about right, since all the 60fps out there are duplicated 30fps now on days (Not a real 60fps yet, no even on video games).

I'm not quite following what you mean by video games. Are you just referring to how they're displayed on a hdtv?

Too bad, I enjoyed the first one in 3d at a theater. I guess I'll be waiting for the disk and watching at home.

No way in hell I'm going to sit in a theater shitting myself, much less enjoy a theater if everyone around me is shitting themselves...ugghhh

48 fps would be helpful only if you playback the film at 20% to 30% slower to keep up with subtitles. BTW VLC can manage this WITHOUT distorting the sound.
