James Cameron, the director behind the highest grossing films of all-time, says that the new Avatar films are 'gonna be b*tchin'.' also no offense here to this but 48 frames won't make your c.g work look like c.g so thanks for that at at least.

48fps is about right, since all the 60fps out there are duplicated 30fps now on days (Not a real 60fps yet, no even on video games).

I'm not quite following what you mean by video games. Are you just referring to how they're displayed on a hdtv?

Too bad, I enjoyed the first one in 3d at a theater. I guess I'll be waiting for the disk and watching at home.

No way in hell I'm going to sit in a theater shitting myself, much less enjoy a theater if everyone around me is shitting themselves...ugghhh

48 fps would be helpful only if you playback the film at 20% to 30% slower to keep up with subtitles. BTW VLC can manage this WITHOUT distorting the sound.
