The crowdfunded Jolla Tablet has reached its latest milestone, their $1.5 million stretch goal.
Based on the Sailfish OS, the Jolla Tablet has a 7.85-inch display with 2048x1536 resolution, a 64-bit quad-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz, 2GB RAM, dual 5MP/2MP cameras, 32GB internal storage (expandable via microSD) and a small-ish 4300mAh battery.

This wheel has been reinvented WAY TOO MANY F'ING TIMES!
I think it's time to put 'tablets' to rest and this one seems to be the most qualified for dismissal.
Crowdfunded or not......it's just a tablet, running an unknown OS at that too!
One thing is for damn certain with tablets; they do 2 things essentially, surf the web and field emails. How is it that a run-of-the-mill product (tablets) can garner so much retail hype??
Down with ALL tablets! They are a waste and most often wind up sitting on a desk/nightstand/coffee table only third in use to the desktop then the laptop.
Most people seem to use a tablet when nothing else is around. I know I do.
