According to a new filing, the Chinese smartphone giant booked a profit of just $56 million last year, a shockingly low figure given the fact that Xiaomi is the fourth largest smartphone maker in the world. They have given Samsung run for their money in the Indian market. They offer phenomenally better quality phones than Samsung at 2/3 the price. I am sure the Indian consumer wouldn't mind say a 5 or even 10% higher price for their phones.
