This doesn't surprise me at all the wii u is almost 500.00 u.s dollars in there country and because it cannot be hacked to play pirated games in that country no one is buying it instead there buying wii's ps3's and xbox 360's because they can be hacked and run games for free.

I have heard that many people of Brazil import their game consoles and games from places like Canada because it is cheaper to do that over buying it from Brazil.

I don't know how Brazil can think their extremely high tariffs are sustainable. It seems to discourage companies from selling their products there rather than opening manufacturing there, It is a world market and Brazil should accept that and move on.
