Yelp has just announced their Q4 2014 earnings and full-year results, showing strong growth year-over-year. The business review site brought in $377.5 million in revenue for the year, up 62 percent year-over-year. funny i posted about a company that was using slave labor and told people on yelp not to support the company and they removed my post even though they advertised that no post would be removed what a crock

Yelp use his employees to write bad reviews to all kind of business ...then charge them to remove them, from the public view.

They are noting more that pure scammers at their best !!!

I didn't know they use there own employees do write bad reviews, any sources would be great.

While I can speak from first hand experience a couple years back a friend with a business called me with questions. A number of my computer illiterate friends always call me first to answer questions, we all have them :( Anyway a couple years back a buddy calls "What is yelp?" and had to go find out who they were. My buddy said his place got a number of bad reviews, and a representative from yelp was calling him saying for limited time offer for $350 they would remove the bad reviews. It was surprising when only a couple weeks later i saw in the news yelp was getting in trouble by a number of other businesses complaining about this.

Yelp seems like a parasite feeding off honest people, and personally don't trust many of the reviews on there and avoid it, you should as well.
